Thank you to everyone who submitted poems to our 12th annual poetry contest! We received more than 100 entries this year. Selecting just a few winners was tough, but we are proud to announce the winning poems for 2009.
1st place, “Teach Me” by Cia Mathew
2nd place, “The Instrument” by Noor Hasan
3rd place, “Tumor” by Ainee Fatima
We’ve also chosen 3 honorable mentions this year:
