Today is the anniversary of a conspiracy in the year 1605 to blow up England’s Parliment.  The English celebrate each year with fireworks.

V, the mysterious hero in Alan Moore’s comic V for Vendetta (now also a movie) wore a Guy Fawke’s mask.
