Teen Choice Awards 2013

37 teens braved the construction to vote in our annual Teen Choice Awards. Their ballots have been counted, and here are the winners in each category.

In the case of Video Games, votes for specific editions of a particular game (ie. 1 for Just Dance 3, 1 for Just Dance 4) were combined (2 for Just Dance) . The Musical Artist category was chosen by combining the votes for best song and best music video.

The sun has finally come out, school is almost done with for the year, and Summer Reading is almost upon us.

Our Summer Reading program kicks off June 6.  Sign up, read 4 books and you could win an iPod Touch and other prizes (like free food, free books, movies and maybe even a cool t-shirt).

Save trees this year and check out one of our brand new Sony Readers.  They come loaded with 22 titles, including The Hunger Games trilogy and some fascinating nonfiction like The Glass Castle.

About the Teens’ Top Ten

Teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year. Nominators are members of teen book groups in fifteen school and public libraries around the country.  Readers ages 12 to 18 can vote online, anytime between Aug. 24 and Sept. 18; the winners will be announced in a webcast featuring WWE Superstars and Divas during Teen Read Week.
